Week Four Day Two Results

Well at least I can say it was pretty near a big return to the fund, but at least I ended on the plus side again..

I was right about Kalmar to win, but that they would totaly run over Gefle.. 1-5?? And some I know thought Kalmar would loose, glad I didn't take their word for it!

The other way around here, didn't think they would draw, but they did.. Luckily that meant that my under bet on this match went in and evened out the result for this match.

It was so close that this would go in too, 0-0 until the 88th minute, then Sundsvall scored two goals in two minutes! If it wasn't for that, I could've added 13.4 Units extra from the single bet on this match and the double. Such a shame..

And luckily, I was right about the last game. Elfsborg won with 0-2 and thus saving my last bet of over 1.5 Goals with one little goal!

Gefle IF - Kalmar FF. I must be missing something here, I've searched the net for some info on this match but I can't find any. I can't understand how the bookie could put an odds of 2.00 on Kalmar FF winning? They've made a great season thus far with only two losses, against the league-second Elfsborg and yesterdays IFK Göteborg, and from the matches I've seen, they've played some good soccer. And they're playing against one of the bottom teams of the league, which only have one win, and that's against another bottom team.. As I've said, something's up that I don't know about, but I just have to take this odds.. I think this will be a low-scoring game, but Kalmar FF will go home as winners.

Halmstads BK - Hammarby. I don't really know how to motivate my thoughts on this match. But Hammarby is in a good shape at the moment, with five wins and one draw in the latest six matches, and they've won the latest three of their away-matches. Whilst Halmstad on the other hand has three wins and three losses, only two of them being on home-matches. Same here, a low-scoring game.

IFK Norrköping - GIF Sundsvall. Two teams at the bottom of the league is meeting eachother. Might end in a draw.

Djurgården - IF Elfsborg. Yet another top versus bottom, Elfsborg is in a winning streak now, with eight wins and two draws the latest ten matches, and they've won their four latest away-matches. Djurgården on the other hand has only won against teams on worse position than themself, with mixed results on the latest home-matches. I think that Elfsborg will run over Djurgården in this match, perhaps 0-2 or 0-3?

IFK Göteborg To Aim High

New week and no more Euro bets.

The Swedish top league, Allsvenskan, has just kicked off again now that the Euro tournament is over, and thus I'll make a bet on it.

IFK Göteborg - Trelleborgs FF. IFK Göteborg looked good in the recent match in the Swedish Cup, and will probably keep up this work now when they meet a team full of injuries that didn't look so good before the Euro tournament break. Being at their home stadium and all, I think that they will score pretty early in the match and just increase that lead through the whole match.

Euro 2008 Final

My network has once again crashed, so i'm writing from my mobile..
Anyhow. Time for the final of the UEFA Euro 2008 tournament, Germany vs Spain.

Germany. As I've written before, I'm mostly disappointed on the goalkeeper Lehmann. But the skill they lack in him, they make up their line of midfielders and forwards! But, the fact that they nearly didn't win over a Turkey B-Team tells quite a lot about their team at the moment. I'm not saying they're playing bad soccer, but with the lineup they have, they should've beaten Turkey like hell.

Spain. First time in 24 years that they've made it this far in the Euro tournament. I can't really point out one part of the team that's not great! In the match against Russia, their defensive line was like a wall, unbreakable! And Torres and the rest of the midfielders/forwards created opportunities after opportunities, really showing what top class players they really are!
With the team they have this year, I'm convinced that Spain will grab the gold! But it will be a tough match, so I'm not sure that they'll make it in the first 90 minutes.

Too bad I didn't have the chance to get to a computer earlier this evening, so that I could lay some bets. As most of you probably have understood already, I think that Russia has been overrated and that Spain will win this match.
Easy for me to say this with results in hand, but I suppose some of you readers probably know my thoughts on these teams allready.
As said, too bad I didn't get the chance to put a bet on spain and and over/under 2.5 goals as usual, it would've been some welcomed units!
